LIFEPAK 300
Far more advanced than the previous LP200 and 210, the 300 was introduced in 1991 and included a 50mm strip chart recorder, cassette recorder, manual mode, and an LCD for ECG display. It built on the concept of an automated defibrillator with an ECG display that was introduced by the LP210.
The 300 was also the first defibrillator to use prerecorded voice prompts to direct the operator on what to do and use an LCD to display all information including ECG, heart rate, patient warnings, and operating prompts.
The 300 was originally designed to be used with Fast-Patch disposable ECG/Defibrillation electrodes but later on a new therapy cable was introduced with a Quik-Combo connection and could also use a 3-Lead ECG cable to monitor a patient without using a set of defibrillation electrodes.
The 300 is comparable in size to the LP10.
